Welcome to Phi Chi Zeta
Welcome to Phi Chi Zeta
On Sept. 13, 2008, Hurricane Ike made landfall in Galveston, Texas. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the storm, but the house was devastated. Additionally, several members of the Zeta Chapter lost many of their possessions to rain and mold.

Because Hurricane Ike tore off the roof of our main house, many of the mementos from years past, such as framed class photos, alumni awards, etc, were completely destroyed. The Zeta Chapter is currently investigating options for repairing or rebuilding our house, as well as restoring our priceless memories from years past. Current repair estimates are in the tens of thousands of dollars, and the actives are asking for help from you, our generous alumni. Please help us keep Phi Chi as a viable community housing option for many generations to come.
If you would like to help, please email our chapter’s President, Aprill Rowe amrowe@UTMB.EDU. Thank you so much for helping Phi Chi rebuild after this tragic event.
